Adam Ponce graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a B.S. in Municipal Management, he then embarked on a career in port management. He has worked in terminal management for over 10 years, gaining experience in various facets within the port industry. His notable employers include Ports America, Metro Ports, and SSA Marine. In 2022, he transitioned to working as a contract marine surveyor before joining Duncan Shoemaker & Associates in 2024.
